2011 Schedule!06/08/2011 -Thanks to everyone involved with BotCon 2011 - it was GREAT! Be sure to check out the image galleries to see all the fun if you couldn't attend or relive a memory or TEN if you were there!


HOF Update!05/26/2011 - A limited number of Transformers: Hall of Fame tickets are now available to the General Public! If you are interested in attending this exciting evening you can purchase tickets at the Pasadena Convention Center portable box office on Saturday, June 4th, from 9am-5pm (while supplies last). Tickets are $45 per peson.

As previously announced, all attendees will receive a goody bag with movie snacks and a 3D Cinemask which you'll need for a SNEAK PEAK of the new Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie! Trust us - you do not want to miss this event! The goody bag will also include a Hall of Fame souvenir ticket, movie poster and some other great items from Hasbro partners! Dress for the evening is business casual (no t-shirts, please). If you have any questions, please send us an email.


Artist Alley!05/24/2011 - As you have heard, BotCon 2011 will feature an amazing Artists Alley this year! We have many talented artists that will be joining us in Pasadena on June 2nd-June 5th and will be available for sketches and/or will be selling prints of their artwork.

In addition to the eight artists announced on 4/29, we are pleased to announce five more: Ken Christiansen, Sara Lopez, David Wong, Tyla Sprouse and Livio Ramondelli.


2011 Schedule!05/19/2011 - We have revealed our BotCon 2011 schedule today, so please take the time to look it over and make note of the different panels, autograph sessions and other special events that will all be a part of BotCon this year. Also note, the Casino Night Awards Dinner is on FRIDAY night. The Hall of Fame event is SATURDAY night and requires a separately purchased ticket. If you have not yet purchased your HoF ticket (this had to be ordered in addition to your Primus/Protoform/Mini-con package) you can do that be clicking here. Also please note that the HOF Event does not include dinner.

HOF Honorees!05/18/2011 - Hasbro has announced the two human inductees for the Transformers Hall of Fame event on their official Transformers Facebook page. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg will join the 2011 class of robot inductees, all of whom will be officially inducted at BotCon 2011 on Saturday, June 4th!

Special Guest #9!05/17/2011 - Before there was Carly, there was... Carly! We are pleased to have Arlene Banas, the actress who performed the voice of Carly in the original G-1 series. She will be joining us on Sunday at BotCon 2011 in Pasadena this June!

Arlene will be appearing alongside Michael McConnohie on our Sunday G-1 voice actor panel and will be available for autographs as well.

Special Guest #8!05/16/2011 - Returning to the BotCon guest roster is a fan favorite Michael McConnohie! Fans that have met Michael before should be thrilled to see the voice of G-1 Tracks and Cosmos back once again. For those who have not yet met him, be sure to catch him as he will be joining us on Sunday for a panel and autograph session to meet fans, new and old!

Michael is also known for his extensive V/O work with Anime English language dubs as well as providing the "voice" for different characters in live action roles such as Motor Mantis from Power Rangers and Master Tatsu from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

HOF Update!05/13/2011 - Breaking News from Hasbro on the 2011
Hall of Fame Event!

Saturday night will feature the second annual Transformers Hall of Fame event and induction ceremony right across the street from BotCon at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

The honorees include robots Ironhide, Ratchet, Soundwave and the highly
anticipated 2011 Fan's Choice along with two well known, high profile
human inductees!

As previously announced, all attendees will receive a goody bag with
movie snacks and a 3D Cinemask which you'll need for a SNEAK PEAK of the
new Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie! Trust us - you do not want to
miss this event! The goody bag will also include a movie poster along
with some other great items from our partners!

Please note that attendance is limited and this event is expected to sell out soon.


Special Guest #6!05/12/2011 - Making his FIRST EVER convention appearance, the legendary Jack Angel will be joining us at BotCon 2011!

Jack provided the voices for numerous Transformers characters, including Astrotrain, Ramjet, Smokescreen, Omega Supreme, Ultra Magnus (from the cartoon) and our personal favorite, Breakdown!

In addition to Transformers, Jack voiced Wetsuit on G.I. Joe. Hawkman, Samurai and the Flash on Superfriends as well as numerous other characters throughout the 70's, 80's, 90's and the last decade. Jack's voice could also be heard as the voice of Teddy from A.I. as well as Chunk from last years hit movie Toy Story 3!

Come see Jack on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for panels, autographs and at
other special events featured at BotCon 2011!


Special Guest #5!05/11/2011 - We are thrilled to announce another guest making their first ever appearance at BotCon. On hand for the entire weekend will be Neil Ross, voice of G1 Springer, Hook, Bonecrusher and the Dinobot Slag!

Neil has appeared in dozens of animated series, including G.I. Joe (voice of Shipwreck and Buzzer), Voltron (voice of Keith and Pidge) and has had his V/O featured in live action movies such as Back to the Future 2, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Dick Tracy and Being John Malkovich.

Be sure to stop by and see Neil, and if you are a registered attendee, he will also be taking part in Friday's script reading. Which Stunticon will he be? You'll find out soon at BotCon 2011!


Special Guest #4!05/10/2011 - Our next guest will be making her first ever BotCon appearance this year in Pasadena, Ca. Morgan Lofting voiced five different characters in the original G1 Transformers series, including Moonracer and Firestar. Also, 80's fans will recognize Morgan as the voice of the Baroness in the original G.I. Joe cartoon.

Morgan will be on hand all weekend for autographs, panels and will be taking part in our special Friday afternoon event... the 2011 BotCon script reading! She will be providing the voice of her first ever Decepticon, Transformers Animated Drag Strip!

We will have more details on the script reading next week so be sure to stay tuned for that announcement as well as another guest reveal tomorrow!


Special Guests #2 & #3!05/09/2011 - Today we have our "official" second and third special guest reveals! On Friday, via Twitter, David Kaye announced he will be joining us at BotCon this year. Mr. Kaye will be taking part in a special event (which we will be announcing later this week) as well as available for autographs. David will only be joining us at BotCon on Friday, so if you have not yet registered, be sure to do so today so you can meet the voice of Transformers Animated: Optimus Prime and Megatron from Beast Wars!

Also, we are pleased to announce that the voice behind one of this years HoF fan choice nominees will also be at BotCon. That's right. "Me Grimlock's" Gregg Berger! Gregg will be on hand all weekend for panels, autographs and will also be taking part in our Friday afternoon event.

Stay tuned as we will be announcing another new guest tomorrow, and we are very much looking forward to announcing her!


Special Guest #1!05/06/2011 - We are pleased to start rolling out our special guest line-up for BotCon 2011. And trust us, once you see everyone we have on tap, you will be ready to get in line for the panels and autograph sessions a week before the show even starts!

First up is... Flint Dille. Not only was he the story editor for the original Transformers cartoon, he also wrote the initial draft for the 1986 Transformers animated movie. Flint will be on hand Saturday for a very special panel as well as autographs.
